What being close genuinely helps with
Short-notice attendance is the clearest benefit. A provider with people nearby can respond to a spill, a failed collection or an unexpected requirement faster than one dispatching from further away. Familiarity with local conditions helps too: dock booking systems, loading restrictions, after-hours access practices and the general rhythm of a district are all learned rather than deduced and none of it appears in a proposal document.
Supervisory presence is the third. A supervisor already working within a few streets will call in more readily than one making a special trip, and that informal attention is genuinely valuable. Ask each provider where their nearest regular commitments are, since the answer describes how easy it will be for somebody other than the cleaner to look at your building and how much of that attention your building would realistically receive.
