Floor care is a programme, not a task
Routine cleaning maintains a floor; it does not restore one. A proper programme involves knowing the surface, the existing finish and its condition, then setting a cycle that combines routine attention, periodic restoration and occasional full treatment. A provider who understands that will talk in terms of intervals and outcomes. One who does not will offer to polish the floor, which is a task without a plan behind it.
The distinction becomes expensive over time. Floors maintained without a programme deteriorate slowly and then require full stripping and recoating, which costs considerably more than the maintenance would have. Asking about the programme during the comparison is therefore not a technical detail; it is the difference between a floor that holds up for years and one that needs rescuing and one that quietly becomes a much larger project.
